Prediction
On Tuesday, Emma Raducanu will face Alize Cornet of France in the opening match of her US Open championship defence.
Since her breakthrough performance in New York the previous year, Raducanu has failed to find similar success abroad. Elena Rybakina beat her mercilessly to start the season in Sydney in straight sets. In the second round of the Australian Open, she was defeated by Danka Kovinic.
