Emma Raducanu Responds To John McEnroe

But the youngster has not held her words back while responding to John McEnroe following his debatable comments. John McEnroe invited criticism by drawing parallels to Naomi Osaka. The World number two withdrew from French Open and Wimbledon, owing to depression and anxiety. But earlier at French Open, she refused to fulfil her media obligations.

As a result, Osaka faced plenty of backlash from the media and the Tennis fraternity. Hence, Mcenroe suggested that the pressure got to Emma Raducanu too, with the topic under discussion extensively. John further commented that with her last match extending for as long as it did, took a lot out of Rudacanu, who is inexperienced.

“I don’t think it helped that the previous match went as long as it did because it made her think about it more,” McEnroe said.
