Know the Indian Premier League 2023 Emerging Player of the Year award winner, award history, & IPL winners prize money list
Due to his exceptional talent and consistent performance during the 2023 Indian Premier League, Yashasvi Jaiswal has become the latest player to win the Emerging Player of the Year award. Although Jaiswal wasn’t present at the award ceremony, Chennai Super Kings star Shivam Dube collected the prize on his behalf.

2023 Indian Premier League: Emerging Player of the Year award winner
On Tuesday, Yashasvi Jaiswal of the Rajasthan Royals earned the IPL 2023 Emerging Player of the Year Award. The 21-year-old finished as the season’s fifth-highest run scorer with 625-runs in 14 matches during a historic tournament. As the fourth-youngest player to score a century in the IPL, Jaiswal dropped a 124-runs masterclass in just 62-balls against the Mumbai Indians. In addition, he tied the tournament record for the greatest individual score by a Rajasthan Royals hitter. During the 2023 Indian Premier League, Jaiswal also managed to hit the joint fastest half-century from 13-balls against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Thanks to him winning the prestigious Emerging Player of the Year, Yashasvi Jaiswal will receive INR 10 Lakh prize money.

The award has been known as the Emerging Player of the Year since 2014. In order to be eligible for the award, a player must have played no more than five Tests, twenty One Day Internationals (ODI), & twenty-five IPL games at the beginning of the season. Mustafizur Rahman, a Bangladeshi bowler, won the prize in 2016 and is the only foreign player to do so to date. The first recipient of the Emerging Player of the Year honor in the IPL 2008 was Shreevats Goswami of Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Rohit Sharma of Deccan Chargers took home the honor in the 2009 season.
