For those who aren’t aware, let us tell you, Elizabeth Debicki will be seen portraying the role of Princess Diana in Season 5.
Let us remind you, in season 3 and season 4, the younger version of the Princess was portrayed by Emma Corrin, who is well known for her role in My Policeman.
Who’s Elizabeth Debicki?
Elizabeth Debicki, who’s an actress, was born in Paris, France on August 24, 1990. Her father has Polish origin, while her mother is from Australia having Irish descent.
In an interview with MindFood back in 2015, the actress had revealed that both of her parents were ballet dancers.
Though the star was born in Paris, when she was 5 years old, her family moved to Melbourne, Australia.
Meanwhile growing up, the 32-year-old actress followed the footsteps of her parents, as she also took training for being a ballet dancer. In her childhood, she aimed to be a ballet dancer.
However, when she turned 17, she realized her height was around 6.2′ which is quite tall to be a ballet dancer. So she switched her career goals from ballet to theatre.
In a previous interview, the Australian actress revealed that, “I was taller than my teachers when I was 12, and I remember the lightbulb moment, This isnโt going to work.โ
In another interview she opened up about switching her career as she stated that the switch was quite natural.
Elizabeth had completed her degree in drama from Melbourneโs Victorian College of the Arts back in 2010.
After successfully completing his graduation, she made her debut in an Australian film titled A Few Best Men in 2011.
Soon afterwards, she appeared in another movie titled The Great Gatsby in 2013. For this movie, she even won the Best Actress Supporting role Award from AACTA.
Afterwards, she appeared in many movies, however, she bagged her biggest role from Marvel Studios in the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, where she portrayed the character of Ayesha.
