What Exactly Happened in Chapter 267
At the beginning of the most recent chapter, we learn that Jiwoo asks Nitrate if Kartein is going to be okay, and that Nitrate assures her that she has nothing to worry about. He reassures Kartein that his strength is greater than he realizes and points out that Kartein is better known for his healing powers than his fighting skills.
He adds that he has heard that Yoo Jiyoung went as well, so he doesn’t think you should be too worried about it. The action returns to the combat proper, where the villains have successfully trapped Tanji. Kartein adds in his internal monologue that fighting them would have been excruciatingly painful under normal circumstances, but that they are vulnerable now because of their wounds.
