On May 28, 2022, Twitter user @jamesfromcourt claimed that he was able to observe a legal session in a court in Fairfax, Virginia.
Elain Bredehoft was observed leaving the courtroom after the trial ended and before the jury went home, he told online, crying. He went on to say that when she emerged from the bathroom, a few trial watchers tried to “make her smile.”
He stated in another tweet that he was ignorant of the reason for her crying. Followers of the case, on the other hand, “remarked on how difficult it must be for her to manage with all of this public attention.”
Elaine Bredehoft, he added, might not be a fan of Amber Heard. Her employment, however, requires her to defend a client with whom she may not agree.
After writing an op-ed piece for The Washington Post in December 2018, in which she claimed she was a victim of domestic violence, Johnny Depp sued his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard, for $50 million.
Despite the fact that Amber Heard did not specifically mention the Pirates of the Caribbean star, the latter’s legal team argued that the story implied as much.
Heard’s attorneys contended that the piece was protected by her right to free expression because she did not name the actor. After alleging Johnny Depp of abuse, she countersued him for $100 million.

Amber Heard’s legal team had also engaged in arguments in court while the camera was not rolling, according to Time Magazine.
Many internet users have commented that it is sad that a successful lawyer like Elaine Bredehoft is obtaining a negative reputation online. All of this is just because she represents a client who is despised by the internet.
Internet users sympathised with the lawyer, who had received a lot of media attention, which the lawyer may not have been used to. However, it’s also possible that the attorney was simply relieved that the six-week trial was finally over.
