7 June 1985 was the day when Ekta Bhyan took birth in one of the families in Hisar. Her father Baljeet Bhyan is a retired horticulture officer.
Bhyan has two siblings an elder sister and a younger brother who has given full support to her. Currently, Ekta is living with her family in Hisar Haryana only which is her hometown.
Paralympian Ekta Bhyan Club Throw Career
Where there is a will, there is a power of achieving anything. Ekta Bhyan very well worked on this when she was 18 tables turned when she met with a road accident in 2003. She was diagnosed with spinal cord injury which paralyzed her body.
But still, Bhyan completed her education by clearing the civil services exam in 2011 and became an Assistant employment officer.
Her destiny was with her coach Amit Saroha who approached and trained her for club and discus throw. In 2016 she took up the sport and won a silver medal in Berlin.
2017 was the year when she competed in the national championship and won gold. In the year 2018 Ekta Bhyan became the second woman to win gold in the Asian Para Games. Gradually Ekta Bhyan became one of the top-class athletes.

In the Asian Para Games of the year 2018, Ekta bhyan bagged gold. At the IPC Grand Prix, Ekta bagged gold in club throw and bronze in the discus throw, and in 2016 she won silver in club throw.
Also in 2016, Bhyan conquered gold in club throw and bronze in the discus throw. In 2018 Ekta Bhyan achieved the national Award for Empowerment and disability.
