Know about eISL 2023 Playoffs draw, schedule, teams, format, knockouts, semifinals teams
On April 26, the league stage of eISL, the official eSports competition of the Indian Super League, which is administered by Football Sports Development Limited in collaboration with EA SPORTS and NODWIN Gaming, comes to a conclusion.
The top six clubs have now moved to the knockout stages following the conclusion of the eISL Season 2 League stage.
The current eISL season’s playoff format differs slightly from the previous one.

All playoff contests, including the semifinals and championship game, will be played on May 6 and 7, 2023.
FC Goa maintained its flawless record throughout the league rounds with 9 victories and 1 tie, and it took top place in the eISL rankings with 28 points.
Mumbai City FC (21 points), Bengaluru FC (20 points), and Northeast United FC (23 points), who finished third and fourth, respectively, were next.
Hyderabad FC ended in fifth place with 14 points, ahead of Kerala Blasters FC, who secured the sixth and last playoff spot.
The current eISL champions from season one, Chennaiyin FC, were unlucky to miss out on the eISL playoffs as they finished with 11 points to hold onto seventh place.
The top two teams now automatically progress to the competition’s semifinals because to changes made to the eISL playoff structure this season.
In knockout matches, the third-place team plays the sixth-place team while the fourth-place team plays the fifth-place team, and they wait for the winner.
The winners of Mumbai City FC and Kerala Blasters FC will meet Northeast United FC, while the winners of Bengaluru FC and Hyderabad FC will face FC Goa.
On May 7, 2023, the winners of the two semifinal matches will face off in the eISL’s second edition championship game.

The first week of the second season of the eISL, started on February 28, 2023.
Only the eISL playoffs, which will be held in Delhi on May 6 and 7, 2023, will follow a format similar to that of the Hero ISL playoffs, even though the league portion of the upcoming season will be played online.
The league will have 62 total games (55 league and 7 playoff).
