An update that is neither good for Real Madrid nor for the fans! An additional challenging situation for Carlo Ancelotti’s side as Belgium international, Eden Hazard has another surgery scheduled in the coming days which means, the dream of seeing him against his ex-club Chelsea would end up like a dream only for the Madridistas.
Real Madrid, on their official site on Wednesday, stated, ” Our player Eden Hazard will undergo surgery in the next few days to remove the osteosynthesis plate on his right fibula.”
When can Real Madrid expect Eden Hazard’s return?
A surgery means, the Belgian midfielder is not coming back anytime soon. He will also miss his side’s Champions League clash with the Blues scheduled next month on 7 for the first leg quarterfinal and April 13 for the return leg. He could end up missing the remainder of the season as things stand.

This is not the first time that Hazard will be sidelined following injury. The 35-year-old has already not appeared doe the whites since he last played on February 19th against Alavas as a substitute that lasted for five minutes.
