The stadium has served as the home ground for India, Bengal and Kolkata Knight Riders throughout the years. The Eden Gardens is located adjacent to the river Ganges’ eastern bank and has great connectivity with the entire city.
The stadium was named after the sisters of Lord Auckland, who was the then Governor-General of India back in 1864.
KKR will play at the Eden Gardens for the first time since 2019. The Eden Gardens is set to host all of KKR’s seven home games this season.
