On Monday, February 26, DY Patil T20 Cup’s 18th season got underway and the tournament has now reached its quarterfinal stage.

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is in charge of organising the domestic T20 tournament known as the DY Patil T20 Cup 2024. The 16 teams who took part in the competition were split into four groups.

Following the final round of group stage matches, the DY Patil T20 Cup 2024 quarterfinal lineup was decided upon. Eight teams, the top two teams in each group, advanced to the next round.
In game 21 of the DY Patil T20 Cup 2024, Income Tax triumphed over Canara Bank. In the battle that ended in a close encounter, Reliance 1 prevailed against Jain Irrigation in the morning session. In the evening, On Day 6, DY Patil Red easily defeated Bank of Baroda by nine wickets in the evening games.
There are 24 league-stage games planned, which will be followed by four quarterfinals, two semifinals and a final on March 9. To secure a spot in the quarterfinals, the Reliance 1 squad won Group A by defeating Jain Irrigation, the runners-up.
