The line-up for the 2022 Dutch Darts Masters has been announced, as the sport’s top players prepare to compete in the inaugural World Series of Darts event at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam this week.
Dutch Darts Masters 2022 Tournament Format
In the first round, the best of 11 legs will be used in all matches. Meanwhile, starting in the second round, all matches will be played in a best of 15 leg format. A Best of 15 Legs format will also be used for the Final.

2022 Dutch Darts Masters Schedule, Venue, Draw, and Playing Line-up
The Professional Darts Corporation’s first staging of the tournament, the 2022 Dutch Darts Masters, is set to be the third participation in the World Series of Darts. The tournament will be held on the 24th and 25th of June 2022 at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with 16 players (eight PDC players and eight Dutch qualifiers).
The winner of this World Series competition will be awarded a cheque for £20,000. The runner-up will get a prize of £10,000 in cash. In any case, atleast £1250 will be awarded to each of the sixteen participants. Tickets can be purchased by the fans from here.
In the first round, eight PDC players will compete against eight North American players. Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright, Fallon Sherrock, James Wade, Michael Smith, Gary Anderson, and Jonny Clayton are all members of the PDC. The PDC revealed the eight players who will be its elite representatives at the competition on April 11, including Fallon Sherrock, who was denied the chance to compete in the 2020 World Series of Darts circuit because to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The seedings were determined by previous World Series results from earlier in the year. Meanwhile, the Dutch representatives are eight PDC Tour Card holders who are ranked higher on the PDC Order of Merit on May 31, 2022 will compete in the Dutch qualifications.

Prize Money Pool Distribution Of Dutch Darts Masters 2022
Dutch Darts Masters 2022 will have a net prize pool of £60,000 with the winner taking home £20,000, which is double the amount of runner-up. As per announcement, the runner-up will earn a total of £10,000.

When And Where to Watch: Live Stream And TV Telecast Coverage
In the Netherlands and nine other European countries, the Dutch Darts Masters will be aired live and exclusively on Viaplay. On home soil, three-time World Champion Michael van Gerwen will compete alongside World Champion Peter Wright and world number two Gerwyn Price. Hence, the tournament will be a must-watch for fans around the world.
