On the PDC Pro Tour in 2022, the Jack’s Dutch Darts Championship was the eighth of thirteen European Tour tournaments. From the 27th to the 29th of May 2022, the event took place at the IJsselhallen in Zwolle, Netherlands. It had a field of 48 players and a prize pool of £140,000, with the winner receiving £25,000. After defeating Ricky Evans 8–5 in the 2018 final, Ian White was the defending champion, however he did not qualify for the tournament.

Michael Smith won the Jack’s Dutch Darts Championship on Sunday in Zwolle, defeating Danny Noppert 8-7 in a thrilling final. It was Smith’s first PDC European Tour championship in five years. Smith scored a remarkable 142 checkout in a hard-fought 7-4 semi-final victory over Andrew Gilding, after defeating Mervyn King in the quarter-finals, and he averaged 111 in an impressive third-round victory over Damon Heta to open the last day of action.
Noppert started the day with a 6-5 comeback victory over World Champion Peter Wright, taking out 126 to force a decider, which he won in 13 darts. In the quarter-finals, he went to an 11th leg against Boris Krcmar, repeating the feat with a 13-darter to win, and in the semi-finals, he averaged 103 in a clinical 7-2 triumph against Callan Rydz. However, he was stunned by Smith after losing the final’s deciding leg, meaning he will have to wait for his first European Tour victory despite reaching his second final of 2022.
