For Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming film, which will be the 46th of his career, the actor has worked with filmmaker Ponram. Thirutham, Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Rajinimurugan, Seemaraja, and MGR Magan are just a few of the films that Ponram is renowned for directing.
The Star Cast Of DSP
A senior police officer, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, will play a key role in the Ponram-directed and written movie. In the 2016 action thriller Sethupathi, he portrayed a cop. His most recent release was the Malayalam drama film 19 (1) (a). It starred him alongside Nithya Menen and Indrajith Sukumaran and had a direct release on July 29, 2022, on Disney+ Hotstar.
Aside from DSP, he is working on a number of other projects, including Michael, Viduthalai, and the Hindi movies Mumbaikar, Merry Christmas, and Jawan. Anukeerthy Vas, the 2018 Femina Miss India World winner, plays the female lead in DSP. The movie will also star Shivani Narayanan from “Bigg Boss Tamil 4” and “Vikram” and Pugazh from “Cooku With Comali” fame.
Date Of DSP Release
The first poster for the movie, which debuted on November 11 and portrayed the megastar as a swaggering officer avatar riding a bike, established the big release date for the movie as December 2, 2022, with advance booking due to begin soon.
DSP Technical Crew
The movie, which is being presented by Stone Bench Films and is being produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, has a talented crew on board. It includes cinematographers Vekatesh S. and Dinesh Krishnan, and editor Vivek Harshan.
Its soundtrack was written by the well-known composer D. Imman. The artwork was directed by K. Veerasamar, and the choreography for the stunts was handled by Dinesh Subbarayan. Yugabharathi, Ponram, and Vijay Mathupandi wrote the lyrics. The movie’s co-producers are Kalyan Subramanian, S. Somasegar, and Kalraman.
