Ayushmann starrer 2019 comedy film Dream Girl is about to return with its sequel. The movie is all set to return with its sequel title Dream Girl 2.

The first instalment of the film featuring Nushrratt Bharucha was turned out to be a blockbuster success as the movie had grossed Rs. 200 crore worldwide while the film was made under an average budget of Rs. 28 crore.
The sequel film Dream Girl 2 will feature Ayushmann Khurrana along with Ananya Panday. The shooting of the film began in mid 2022.
Initially the film was supposed to hit the big screen in June, however since the movie is being shot in North India, it got messy amid the rains, so the makers of the film have delayed its release date.

Anek featuring Ayushmann Khurrana was confirmed as the lead for Dream Girl 2 since the beginning of the film.
However, as for the main female lead, the name of the main actress of the film has created many headlines as it created a buzz around the internet.
Previously it was reported that the TV actress Tejasswi Prakash who’s ruling hearts as Pratha in Ekta Kapoor’s Nagin 6 is going to make her Bollywood film debut with Dream Girl 2.
However, the Liger star Ananya Panday has roped in for the lead female character of the sequel.
Other than Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday the film will also featured;
Annu Kapoor,
Paresh Rawal,
Vijay Raaz,
Seema Pahwa,
Manoj Joshi, and
Rajpal Yadav.
Release Date of Dream Girl 2
The lead actor of the film Ayushmann Khurrana is confident about his blockbuster film’s sequel, so the filmmakers have booked a slot for Eid 2023 to release the movie.
However the slot is already booked for Salman Khan’s Tiger 3.
The sequel film of Dream Girl is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, while it is bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and ALT Entertainment.
Talking about Dream Girl 2, the same production houses are going to bankrolled the project and the director Raaj back with his seat.
