DJ Paul is an American DJ, a record producer, and also a rapper who hails from Memphis, Tennessee. Paul is the founding member of the hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia and uncle of the late rapper Lord Infamous. He is also a part owner of FaZe Clan.

DJ Paul, whose real name is Paul Duane Beauregard, was born on January 12, 1977 in Memphis, Tennessee and began his career at the age of 11, working as a DJ at the local club 380 Beale. In 1989, Paul formed the duo the Serial Killaz with his brother Ricky T Dunigan, known by his stage name Lord Infamous.
Paul was engaged to Majda Baltic, whom he had met at the airport in Salt Lake City, Oklahoma and the pair called off their engagement after appearing on the reality television show “Celebrity Wife Swap.”

DJ Paul began his career in late 1980s as a DJ and released a number of solo tapes, as well as did 3 collaboration albums with Lord Infamous as The Serial Killaz. Juicy J was introduced to him and the three launched the group Three 6 Mafia and then went on to gain national success in late 1990s and early of 2000s. Their 2000 album, When the Smoke Clears: Sixty 6, Sixty 1, debuted at 6th number on the list of Billboard top 200 chart and was also certified platinum.
Later on, it was followed by Da Unbreakables in 2003 and Most Known Unknown in 2005, both of which were commercially successful. Further in 2006, DJ Paul, Juicy J, Crunchy Black, and Frayser Boy won an award for the Best Original Song for “It’s Hard out Here for a Pimp” from the film Hustle and Flow. Paul has also released three back-to-back solo albums and created soundtracks to 2 movies. Paul and the rest of the Three 6 Mafia are well known as the originators of the crunk style of music. In 2018, he co-produced track “Talk Up” featuring JAY-Z from Drake’s 5th studio album named Scorpion.
Apart from his music, DJ Paul has been involved in different types of business ventures including film production and real estate. He also established his own record label named Scale-A-Ton Entertainment. He co-owns the fashion wear line Dangerous / Skandulus and has a collection of BBQ seasonings and is the spokesman for the legal version of drink Sizzurp.
