The Arizona University is currently mourning the demise of swimmer and recent alumni, Ty Wells, after the news of the student’s demise surfaced online, know if he had taken the Covid vaccine
The University of Arizona took to their official Twitter handle to tribute the 23-year-old athletic as they confirmed Ty passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023.

For those who are unfamiliar with Ty, let us tell you, the late athlete who was born in December 1999 to Joseph and Sandra Wells in Mountain View, California, was a well known swimmer, who competed under the club Wildcats.
During his time at high school at Ripon High School, he became a 4-time letterwinner in swimming and water polo. He graduated from high school in 2018.
Last year in May, Ty completed his graduation in Physiology from UA and he aspired to pursue a career in sports medicine or physical therapy.
The swimmer has a number of personal records under his name as well as along with the team for his impressive performances. The news of his death sent shockwaves around the nation.
If you’re wondering the cause of his death, let us tell you, as of now, the cause of athletics demise has not been made public.
Ty was quite healthy and reportedly he didn’t have any prior illness. Though there have been many speculations regarding his death, meanwhile the investigation surrounding his death continues.
As soon as news of his death surfaced online, people were quick to decide that he died because of Covid-19 vaccine.
However, the University of Arizona has publicly revealed that they never mendated the Covid-19 vaccine for anyone as it remains unknown whether Ty had received the vaccine or not.
There are rumors surrounding his death that the swimmer died due to a motorcycle accident. Although later it was confirmed that it wasn’t Ty himself but some other person with the same name who died in a motorcycle incident.
The athletic director, in a conversation, expressed his sincere condolences to the family over the unexpected loss of a swimmer.
Earlier we reported a similar case involving Ashari Hughes, who in the middle of a football game experienced some chest problems. The athlete went to rest but collapsed on the sidelines and later it was reported that the footballer died on the same day.
