Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana recently deleted all wedding-related posts from her Instagram account, sparking all kinds of speculations. The move came during a time when online rumours about her fiancé, music composer Palash Muchhal, allegedly cheating began circulating. While all of the claims have been verified, Smirit’s decision to remove the posts further intensified the speculations.
It is being claimed that Palash may have been involved in an inappropriate relationship with a choreographer identified as Mary D’Costa who was in charge of the couple’s upcoming wedding festivities with Palash’s Instagram messages to her leaked now as well.
The messages show Palash complimenting D’Costa, referencing a “long-distance” relationship with Smriti, and suggesting casual outings ranging from spa sessions to early-morning trips to Versova beach. However, the rumors of Palash cheating and Smriti calling off the marriage due to it are yet to be officially confirmed.
Smriti reportedly removed the proposal video, engagement announcement, and wedding reels after finding out Palash had cheated on her. As a result, social media users quickly jumped in with cheating accusations against Palash Mucchal. Moreover, Smriti’s teammates, Jemimah Rodrigues and Shreyanka Patil, also removed their congratulatory posts, which further sparked public curiosity. As of now, there are no official statements from either Smriti or Palash addressing the claims.

Meanwhile, Smriti’s manager, Tuhin Mishra, claimed that both families called off the wedding because Smriti’s father, Shriniwas Mandhana’s suffered a sudden medical emergency. Shriniwas reportedly collapsed during breakfast before being rushed to the hospital. The wedding was initially scheduled for November 23 in Sangli, and several teammates had already arrived for the celebrations.
