A viral video on Twitter/X claims that a couple died due to fentanyl overdose inside the SoFi stadium
In an unconfirmed video posted on X on Saturday, American far-right radio personality Alex Jones claimed that a couple had overdosed on fentanyl while attending a game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
Did an East LA Hispanic couple really die due to fentanyl overdose in the SoFi Stadium as claimed in viral video on Twitter/X
It’s frightening and depressing. Both of them died after taking too much fentanyl the video claimed. On X, Alex Jones noted, “It’s similar to the experimental mRNA injections, but faster.”
In a follow-up, he added, “I hope this is not real. Regardless the massive threat of fentanyl is real, and so this is a good warning to the public regardless.”
The video, which seems to have started on TikTok, has two individuals holding hands while sitting still on a bench. Two security guards can be seen trying to rouse them.

Text overlaid on the clip reads: “Omg be careful people. Some drugs are deadly. This couple from East LA overdosed on Fentanyl together and died together at SoFi Stadium watching a game. Condolences to the families.”
In less than three hours, the video received over a million views, demonstrating its rapid virality. Reactions to the video were overwhelming.
“Too young for this to be their fate,” someone wrote.
“So so sad!” another person added.
But suspicion also grew as some people began to doubt the video’s veracity.
Grok, X’s AI chatbot, was tagged by many to confirm the assertion. Grok responded that no credible evidence supports the claim of a couple overdosing on fentanyl at SoFi Stadium. Alex Jones, the source, frequently posts unsubstantiated stuff, and searches for news, police records, or government statements yielded no confirmation with the news likely fake.

According to the Attorney General, since the Republican took office for his second term, 3,400 kg of fentanyl have been recovered, meaning that if it weren’t for Mr. Trump, about 75% of the US population would have died.
