Did Al Nassr terminate Vincent Aboubakar contract following Cristiano Ronaldo and his salary at the club

Here is why Vincent Aboubakar contract was terminated following Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival at Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo signed a shocking deal with the Saudi Arabian side Al-first Nassr but did not feature in their first game after being the Saudi Pro League player. He most likely is serving the two-game suspension imposed by the English FA for breaking an Everton fan’s phone.

The limitation on foreign players to eight, however, is a different regulation that might prevent him from being registered as an Al-Nassr player. An Al-Nassr player who is not from Saudi Arabia must leave the team for him to be registered.

Why did Al Nassr terminate Vincent Aboubakar contract following Cristiano Ronaldo and his salary at the club

The player being sacrificed for Ronaldo is rumoured to be Vincent Aboubakar. RMC Sport‘s report states:

Meanwhile, nothing has been officially confirmed for the proceedings and neither Al-Nassr has said anything about the occurrence. However, there are still more claims that Aboubakar is connected to Ronaldo’s former team who paid him an annual salary of 6 million euros. According to rumours, Manchester United is looking to loan out a striker, and Aboubakar is the ideal hopeful for Erik ten Hag. The Athletic claims that United is already in negotiations with Burnley to hire Wout Weghorst temporarily.

Ronaldo’s signing was announced by Al-Nassr at the close of the previous year. On January 5, they played Al Ta’ee in their opening game after the sensational signing. But the game was put off for 24 hours. Ronaldo’s debut, however, was still in doubt. As per what the source of The Times of India reports:

Al Nassr has not registered him [Ronaldo] yet because there is no vacancy for a foreign player. A foreign player must leave to register Ronaldo, either by selling or by terminating the contract by mutual consent.”

It further said:

There are ongoing negotiations to sell one of the players, but they have not reached their final stages yet.”

According to rumours, Uzbek midfielder Jaloliddin Masharipov will be the one to move aside. However, the most recent sources state that Aboubakar appears to be leaving. Talisca, a Brazilian player, and he got into a fight in the locker room, which was caught on camera but were separated by their teammates to keep them apart from one another. Although nothing is official, the Cameroonian’s days at the Saudi club appear to be numbered.
