The 2022 Diamond League Final began on 7 September and will conclude on September 8 at the Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich.

The final kicked off with men’s and women’s shot put events on September 7 and will end with the men’s 200m event on September 8. Over the course of the two-day final, a total of 32 athletes will win the prestigious Diamond Trophy.

Starting with the men’s shot, the two-time world champion, Joe KOVACS of the USA, secured first place with a personal best of 23.23m. Second place was won by Ryan Crouser of the United States and Tom Walsh of New Zealand was third.

In the women’s shot put final, Chase Ealey of the USA secured the first spot with 20.19 m. Second place came from Sarah Mitton Can of Canada and Auriol Dongmo of Portugal had to settle for third place.

Turning to the women’s pole vault final, Nina Kennedy of Australia finished first, followed by Sandi Morris of the United States in second and Tina Sutej of Slovakia in the third.
