Dharambir Nain is a resident of a small village Bhadana of Sonipat district in Haryana. Nain has suffered a major spine injury. Darambir Nain encountered major spinal injury when he jumped in a canal that had less amount of water.

Dharambir Nain hails from a farming family of Haryana. His coach and inspiration have been the ace Para-athlete of India Amit Saroha. He has always looked forward to Amit Saroha and Amit too has been quite helpful to Nain in achieving his dreams.
Nain’s father Ranbir Kapoor has passed away a long time ago.
Dharambir Nain Disability
After his spinal injury, Dharambir’s arms, as well as feet, stopped working and that situation was quite traumatic for Nain and his family.
Nain went through an expensive treatment for almost 1 complete year. Even post-treatment Nain couldn’t walk, he was wheelchair-ridden. When Dharambir was recovering from his injury one of his friends introduced him to the star Para-athlete Amit Saroha.
He was asked by his friends to accompany them for a bath and unfortunately, Nain got paralyzed on the same day. He was taken to Ganga Ram hospital for his treatment after he encountered the spinal injury.
Dharambir’s first meeting with Amit Saroha proved to be a life-changing moment for him. He got inspired by Saroha and decided to do something in sports. Only because of Amit’s motivation and coaching, today Nain is the shining one.

Dharambir Nain’s career has been decorated with a number of medals. Also, Nain has been a participant in the Paralympic Games two times back to back. Presently he is in Tokyo with his inspiration Amit Saroha and is aiming to bag a medal.

He has been a participant at 2017 as well as at the 2019 World Champions. During the Asian Games of 2018, Dharambir Nain conquered a silver medal.
