Devin Booker lead Suns to the Western Conference Finals and has helped them to seven straight NBA playoffs games to set a franchise record for consecutive victories

The 24-year-old looks pretty confident this year and in his first real NBA test, it’s safe to say Booker is passing with flying colours. He handles the ball with great care and his shooting range has improved over the years. After going 121-280 in his first five NBA seasons, Booker will make his first ever appearance in the Conference Finals.

A two-time All-Star, owner of a 70-point game, individual recognition is not lacking in the case of Booker, but team success has remained elusive, until now because of which, fans have put a question mark on Booker’s ability. He has now scored 81 combined points in two closeout games this post-season.

Game 1: Suns 122, Nuggets 105

Phoenix rocked Denver with a devastating 42-14 run in the second half after trailing by 10 points in the third. They started the game with great intensity and pushed Nuggets all the way to a pretty comfortable victory. Devin Booker has established himself as one of the most decorated players in the NBA history.

Head Coach Monty Williams Praised Booker after his mesmerising performance in the Game 1. He feels that the duo of Devin Booker and Chris Paul is the greatest in the Franchise history. both the names have been registered in the Suns history books.

Game 2: Suns 123, Nuggets 98

Suns were ready to battle it out against Nuggets in Game 2 against the MVP who was the best player in Game 2. Jokic scored 24 points and snatched 13 rebounds but was no able to revive the hopes of Denver Nuggets who lost against Chris Paul and Devin Booker.

Suns were running circles around Nuggets defence who were unable to cover Chris Paul and Devin Booker. Both the players were sensational in the second game of the playoffs.


Game 3: Suns 116, Nuggets 102

In Game 3, Chris Paul couldn’t miss and Devin Booker couldn’t be stopped as both the players spoiled Nikola Jokic’s MVP party. Jokic scored 3o points, collected 20 rebounds and supplied 10 assists but still was not able to lead his team to victory over the Suns who were flying high on the ruins of Nuggets.

Devin Booker scored 28 points and teamed with Chris Paul to lead a steady offensive onslaught that ruined Jokic’s big night. With their sixth straight victory, the second seeded Suns took a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Game 4: Suns 125, Nuggets 118

Nikola Jokic’s ejection displayed the frustration of Nuggets who were poor in the last game of the series as the Suns completed a four game sweep. Chris Paul put on a show at Game 4 scoring 37 points and Booker was not far as he bagged 34 points in a physical game.

After Knocking out Lebron James and the defending champion Lakers in Round 1, the Suns quickly dispatched Denver and made Jokic the first MVP to get swept in a playoff series since Magic Johnson in 1989.
