Lee Hong-jo, a civil servant, and Jang Shin-yu, a top-notch attorney, meet by chance in this drama. The two become closer as she arrives with an ancient wooden box containing a banned book. It turns out that Shin-yu has a rare disease that has plagued his family for generations, and the treatment is in the hands of Hong-jo. The mysterious book with the potential cure brings the two together, and love begins to blossom between them.
