However, their rampant display was marred by a contentious act, one which was brought to light by ardent Indian supporters. The feels were resonated by Virender Sehwag who took to Twitter, sharing the picture of two English fielders scuffing the ball with their studs.

While the incident was passed off as an incident bit of controlling the ball with their shoes, Indian supporters were quick to point out that the ball was actually being scuffed.
