It is confirmed that the winner of singles category events will earn $59,500 as prize money and the winning pair of doubles category events will bag $62,500. On the other hand, each runner-up of the singles category will be awarded with prize money of $28,750.

In the Men’s Singles tournament, HS Prannoy is the sole Indian player who has secured a seed. Prannoy is placed in the second quarter of the draw and is scheduled to compete against Koki Watanabe in the opening round. Lakshya Sen is positioned in the third quarter of the draw and will kick off his campaign against Kantaphon Wangchaoren in the first round. Meanwhile, Kidambi Srikanth is situated in the final quarter of the draw. His first-round opponent is Weng Hong Yang, who clinched victory at the Australian Open earlier this year.

Shifting to the Women’s Singles division, PV Sindhu is the lone representative from India in the tournament. Sindhu finds herself in the final quarter of the draw and is set to take on Scotland’s Kirsty Gilmour in her opening match. This quarter also includes the seventh seed, Gregoria Tunjung. It is anticipated that Sindhu and Tunjung may cross paths in the second round. In the men’s doubles category, Indian duo Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy will commence their campaign by taking on the Malaysian duo of Teo Ee Yi and Ong Yew Sin, who are currently ranked ninth globally.
