Recap of Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 1

Muzan gathered the Upper Ranks in the Infinity Castle in the opening episode of Demon Slayer season 3, where Akaza was accompanied by Gyokko, Hantengu, and Doma. The conflict between the two demons is evident, particularly when Akaza totally removes Doma’s jaw for refusing to remove his hand from his shoulder; nevertheless, their fight is stopped when Upper-Rank One Kokushibo joins them.

Gyutaro and Daki have been slaughtered by Demon Slayers, and Muzan notifies the Upper Ranks of this. Furious, Muzan orders them to begin fighting more fiercely, sending Gyokko and Hantengu to ‘check a piece of information’ and then to its supposed location.

In the Butterfly Mansion, Tanjiro, who is unconscious, is having an odd dream in which he sees a Demon Slayer wearing hanafuda earrings being served tea by a person who resembles him.
