Fans of Demon Slayer are eagerly anticipating the start of season 3, but the release date for the English dub is frustratingly still unknown
It won’t be long before Demon Slayer’s third TV season premieres, but while the majority of fans will soon be settling in to watch the one-hour special premiere on Crunchyroll, a sizable portion of the world will be anticipating the English dub. On the one side, we do know that the anime will get a new cast and an official English dub, but sadly, details about its possible release are still hard to come by.
Demon Slayer season 3 English dub release date details as episode 1 drops
Unfortunately, Crunchyroll hasn’t yet shared an official word of the English dub release date, despite the fact that the Demon Slayer season 3 Japanese sub is about to make its global premiere on April 9. The excellent thing is that the platform has affirmed that an English dub would be released at some point during the Spring schedule. This isn’t exactly shocking given the franchise’s widespread popularity.
Fans should be aware that Demon Slayer has previously had trouble keeping the gap between the Japanese sub and English dub release as short as possible. Generally, Crunchyroll releases English dubs two to three weeks after the Japanese sub. In fact, the Entertainment District Arc (Season 2) had one of the longest dub delays in recent memory, with an 11-week gap between the Japanese sub and the English dub.
