Johnson, along with Eddie Alvarez, is one of the biggest stars to sign up the Asiatic promotion ONE FC. While The Underground King became a free agent, the Mighty Mouse was traded into the promotion. This was done so with the promise of fetching a salary that would at least match his earnings during his time at UFC. According to MMA Salaries, Demetrius Johnson has received $750,000. This is for every fight he’s fought as of now under the ONE Championship banner.

With an awesome MMA record of 30-4-1, DJ faced a surprising result in his last match with Adriano Moraes (19-3) at ONE on TNT I. Johnson (30-4-1) suffered the first stoppage loss of his career when flyweight champion Adriano Moraes knocked him out in April. Following the monumental win, Moraes said he was willing to give Johnson a rematch. The former longtime UFC flyweight king may like to run things back. But he wouldn’t be surprised if the promotion took his bouts in a different direction.
