Pictures of DeMar DeRozan being given a 90 rating on NBA 2K22 have been doing the rounds, ones Ronnie 2K has gone onto call as fake
Although NBA 2K22 is still some time away, 2K Games have started dropping the ratings of a string of players to keep gamers intrigued. Ensuing them releasing a list of the top 10 names in the game this year, Ronnie 2K took to Twitter to reveal the ratings for a particular set of players.
Asking fans to comment the name of the players they wanted to be revealed, Ronnie subsequently went onto make the ratings public. However, despite neither him or 2K Games revealing DeMar DeRozan’s rating, pictures have been circulating on Twitter of DeMar being accorded a 90 rating.
Ronnie 2K Clarifies That DeMar DeRozan Is Not 90 Rated On NBA 2K22
Its lead to a brouhaha with many lambasting 2K Games for rating DeMar so highly whilst other players like Jamal Murray were given relatively low ratings. However, Ronnie 2K has now come out to clarify on the issue with him talking about how the pictures doing the rounds were fake and shouldn’t be believed in.
Don’t let fake screens fool you. You’re better than that. Unless you hear about it from myself or @NBA2K for next couple weeks, it’s likely fake.
DeMar is not a 90. That screen is fake.
Happy Sunday!

Meanwhile, a string of players have hit out at their ratings with LeBron James’ swipes being the most notable one. The Lakers player took to Twitter to question why Steph Curry and Kevin Durant weren’t both given 99 ratings in the 2022 installment of the marquee game.
Even Jamal Murray was far from pleased with the 85 rating he was accorded with him failing to resonate with Ronnie 2K’s reasoning of him being rated so low owing to his injury last season, one which had kept him sidelined for a sizeable period.
