Things between Steph Curry’s parents are turning extremely ugly as the two decide to get divorced with Sonya Curry accused of cheating with Steven Johnson from the NFL
Although they had released a statement which by the look of it tried to give the impression of things being very hunky dory between Sonya Curry and Dell Curry, it was clear that things were far from amicable between Steph Curry’s parents as they decided to get divorced.
The two who had filed for divorce proceedings a couple of months back have finally come out in the open about the latest developments after the news was made public. The two talked about how they had tried a trial separation in 2020, ensuing which the duo had decided it prudent to part company.
Dell Curry Accused Sonya Curry Of Being In An Extramarital Affair With Steven Johnson
In the aftermath of this news, new documents have emerged from the divorce proceedings in the North Carolina court, one where Dell Curry has accused Sonya Curry of cheating on him. According to him, Sonya had been in a relationship with former New Patriots England NFL tight end Steven Johnson who was a 6th round pick in the draft of 1988.
Sonya Curry has meanwhile gone onto deny to claims. While she did agree she was in a relationship at the moment, she refuted her being romantically involved with Johnson and said her current unison had only been foraged after her separation with Dell.
She’s also gone onto retort back at Steph Curry’s father, levelling akin cheating charges on him. Given how things have gone awry between the two who have birthed three children together, this soup is bound to get murkier as the days go by.
