The Delhi education model has been exposed by Leader of Opposition Ramvir Singh Bidhuri who spoke about the lowly rank the schools have in the city
Ever since the Arvind Kejriwal lead AAP government has been in power in the capital, the one narrative which has been peddled out is the unprecedented reform brought about in government schools in the city. However, the facade of only painting over and renovating government schools has finally been quashed with Leader of Opposition in Delhi, Ramvir Singh Bidhuri presenting a detailed analysis of how quality of education is on a downward spiral.
Delhi Schools Regress In All India Rank As Education Model Sham Is Exposed

Despite a mammoth amount of funds allocated to education by the Delhi government, the city’s schools and educational institutions stand at an all India sorry rank of 32 with just 124 points in the Learning Outcome and Quality index. Apart from this, Ramvir also went onto allege that over 700 schools in the capital don’t have any principals and vice-principals while a magnitude of them don’t teach science.
Back in 2021, 12 Delhi University colleges which are funded directly by the Delhi Government had gone onto reveal that their coffers had bled dry due to an appalling lack of funds. Ever since the COVID pandemic has set in, scores of Delhi University teachers have taken to the streets to protest against nonpayment by the government, widespread protests which have largely gone unreported by the mainstream media owing to the ad campaigns accorded to them by AAP.
Since the last 6 years, vocational teachers in Delhi have seen no increment in their salaries with the Kashmiri Migrant Teachers body also refuting Kejriwal’s outlandish claims of having given Hindu Pandits jobs in the capital. The move came in the aftermath of a High Court order, one the Delhi Government had approached the Supreme Court over asking for a stay with the petition clobbered in 2018.
