The District Disaster Management Authority has given a green signal to open sports complex and stadiums in Delhi lockdown news today
These two places are going to reopen from Monday but with 0 spectators.
Delhi is soon going to undergo a number of relaxations in the ongoing partial lockdown. According to the recent reports from DDMA, stadiums and sports complexes will be soon reopened in Delhi unlock, with no spectators allowed.
The government announced this decision on 4th July 2021 and the reopening will take place on 5th July 2021. However, still, the cinemas, banquet halls, theatres, multiplexes, swimming pools schools, colleges, and a lot more will remain closed.
Delhi metro services and local buses are still going to run but with 50% occupancy only. These services cannot be restricted as a number of offices are operational completely in and around Delhi.
Delhi Lockdown News: Sports Complex To Open In Second Wave COVID Unlock
Delhi unlock will witness the reopening of sports arenas but with no spectators. So that’s why this news isn’t enjoyed much by spectators. But definitely, the players and sportspersons are going to take advantage of this reopening of stadiums and sports complexes.
In spite of unlocking still, people are asked to follow all COVID protocols when out. Mask and social distancing are still the most important ones. Sanitization is also going to be mandatory for all people visiting the places that are reopening in the coming unlock. People breaking the COVID protocols are going to be fined by cops as earlier.
The next unlock is going to take place on 12th July 2021 so till then the restricted places are not going to reopen. The unlock order for the sports arena was given by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority. However, restricted places will remain shut till 11th July 2021. Since 30th May 2021, Delhi has been going through a phased unlock because of the decline in COVID cases in the capital.
Delhi COVID19 Cases
On Saturday the national capital reported 86 new Corona Virus cases and a total of 5 deaths. The death toll in Delhi has crossed 24,000 but fortunately according to the health authorities’ positivity rate has dropped. Now the positivity rate for COVID in Delhi is 0.11%.
