The official trailer of Delhi Crime Season 2 was released on July 22, 2022, by Netflix. The 56-sec teaser begins with a panoramic image of Delhi. We hear Vartika Chaturvedi discussing how many of Delhi’s citizens live in colonies in poor condition.
They labor for others who live in luxury. She observes that their salaries are vastly different, making it difficult to police a community like this, especially with an inadequate force. As a voice informs us that there has been more murder, we see glimpses of Vartika’s coworkers and subordinates from season one.
As the story continues, the Inspector warns Vartika. He says he has protected her so far but can’t do it anymore. Vartika asks her coworker why crimes continue and where they did they went wrong. To which he (Rajesh Tailang) answers, that we don’t have the luxury to think about things like that. In the meantime, we get to see that another murder has taken place in Delhi.
According to some sources, the case featured in season 2 will be of the Nithari serial killings from 2005 and 2006 that happened near Nithari.
