He is well-known for being an all-around cricket player for his side. His bowling style is right-arm fast-medium, and he prefers to bat with his right hand. He is particularly renowned for bowling in the middle of games and batting in the middle of the order.

In the match against the Gujarat Titans, Aman scored his first half-century in the IPL. He did brilliantly by scoring the century in just 41 balls at a crucial time for the team. In addition, he smashed three sixes and three fours throughout his outstanding 51-run inning. His IPL purchase price was Rs. 20 lakhs.
