Deebo Samuel has gone onto delete over 80 posts pertaining to the 49ers on Instagram
Shortly after Stefon Diggs signed a new $106 million four year extension with the Buffalo Bills, Deebo Samuel’s hopped online to send a message to the San Francisco 49ers. Irked with the 49ers dilly dallying over a new deal for quite some time now, Deebo went onto clean his Instagram account of all 49ers related content to spark panic among the club’s ardent fans.
He not only deleted pictures but also removed his profile photo and bio from his account to wipe out all traces on him being associated with the 49ers. Samuel has widely been expected to receive a contract extension with the team in the offseason as he makes a foray into the final year of his rookie deal.

While both Deebo and the side’s supporters are scouring for a new deal for him, the Niners have typically not been a side to hand out contract extensions to receivers they’ve drafted. The last player who managed to snag an extension was Arnaz Battle in 2005.
However, General manager John Lynch said back in February that extensions for Samuel and Nick Bosa, the team’s best players on each side of the ball, were budgeted for.
