Once again, the social media influencer, Andrew Tate got banned from social media platforms for Violating Policies.
As per Meta, they removed Andrew from Facebook as well as Instagram citing that he violated their policies and guidelines on dangerous organizations and individuals.
However, Meta didn’t reveal any further details on the matter.
Speaking of social media influencer, in the past few days, his popularity had seen a huge boost as he went on from having close to a million followers on Instagram in early June to 4.6 million in August.
He gained around 70k to 100k followers every day in mid-august before being banned. He is also hugely popular on TikTok with having 12.7 billion views under his hashtag i.e, #AndrewTate.
After his ban on the Meta platform, a few charities have called for his ban on the video-sharing platform also claiming that his comments are extremely misogynistic and they can leave a bad influence on the younger generation.
However, the video-sharing platform TikTok has yet to make a decision on these complaints.

Andrew Tate Issued Statement
After being banned from social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, Tate has issued a statement defending himself against the ban.
As per him, his video was taken out of context. In his statement, Andrew said, “It is very unfortunate that old videos of me, where I was playing a comedic character, have been taken out of context and amplified to the point where people believe absolutely false narratives about me.”
He further added, “In the last two weeks I dedicated over $1million to charities supporting women. I posted this on Instagram, but Instagram ignored it.
“I have made videos explaining that my mother is my hero, and how men should protect and provide for women. Instagram ignored it. Internet sensationalism has purported the idea that I am anti-women when nothing could be further from the truth.”
He continued to defend himself as he went on to say, “Somehow I am the villain, when all of my posts were bible verses and charitable donations.
“Banning me only inspires more internet hate mobs and more division. This will become a weapon of attack for different points of view for the foreseeable future.”
However, the former professional kickboxer has a history of posting hateful and misogynistic comments against women.
Back in 2016, he first made headlines when he was eliminated from a TV show Big Brother after a video of him striking a woman with a belt surfaced online.
Later, in 2017, he went on to claim that, “rape victims must bear some responsibility for putting themselves in a position to be raped.” This statement drew a lot of attention and backlash which resulted in his account being suspended from Twitter.
Since then, he was continuously seen posting content related to self-motivation but he also continued to make violent remarks such as calling men superior to women and claiming that “female self defense is bullsh*t.”
However, his actions and comments have been appreciated by some men’s rights activists and that is how he gained a huge fan following as well.
