By this point, residents of Saint Marie must surely be getting sick and weary of having the worst murder rates in the Caribbean.

The newly arriving 12th season has been no different, with DI Neville Parker. The crew dealing with an exciting new set of cases that have seen a number of new faces appear on the island. As usual, episode 3 of season 12 of Death in Paradise welcomes a fresh batch of guest stars to the Caribbean island.

A property sale gone awry is the focus of this week’s murder investigation when an estate agent is discovered dead while trying to sell a portion of Saint Marie’s lovely shoreline. However, it soon becomes evident to DI Parker and the crew that the estate agent was not as trustworthy as he claimed.

It was also clear that he was actually attempting to con the potential purchasers as soon as they started their investigation.

Marlon is leading a case involving fake products in the meantime in a bid to win over the Commissioner and advance to the rank of sergeant. But the young officer is taken aback by the scope of what he must master if he intends to advance in rank.

John Michie As Peter Galbraith

John Michie is without a doubt the most experienced of this week’s guest stars, having performed in a remarkable 45 roles.

His longest-running roles as Guy Self in Holby City and Karl Munro in Coronation Street are probably what fans will remember him for, though he has also been in Moon And Son, Strike Back, Our Girl, Casualty, Wire In The Blood, London Bridge, and London Kills.

Fiona Button as Hannah Roberts

Fiona Button has starred in more than 20 roles over the course of her 16-year career. Her most well-known character was Rose Defoe in The Split. In addition to The Palace, Lip Service, Pramface, Grantchester, Flack, and Out Of Her Mind, Fiona has made appearances in multiple TV shows since her debut in Midsomer Murders in an episode in 2007.

Okorie Chukwu as Jermayne Boon

The most recent time we saw Okorie Chuckwu was in ITV’s Kate & Koji, taking over for Jimmy Akingbola, who had previously played Koji in Death In Paradise. She was seen in Luther, Hard Sun, My Mad Fat Diary, and the 2019 War of the Worlds series. The actor has also had memorable cameos in the movies Level Up and The Complex: Lockdown.

Laura Rollins as Cheryl Horner

Since making her acting debut in the late 1990s, Birmingham-born actress Laura Rollins has starred in a variety of crime dramas, including Innocent, Silent Witness, Miss Scarlet & The Duke, and Father Brown. However, she is most known for playing Ayesha Lee in the BBC drama Doctors, in which she starred in more than 700 episodes between 2014 and 2020.

Kent Riley as Andrew Buckley

Meseryside-born Between 2004 and 2010, Kent Riley played the part of Zak in Hollyoaks. He has also had smaller appearances in shows like Family Affairs, Happy Valley, Cilla, Brief Encounters, Coronation Street, Doctors, Tin Star, The Tower, and The Walk-In.

Barney Walsh as Ryan Cook

The character of Ryan Cook is played by Barney Walsh, the son of Bradley Walsh.

While his father may be the host of The Chase and has appeared in Doctor Who, Barney has only recently started his acting career. His most notable appearance to date has been as PC Harness in The Larkins. He has also made appearances in Doctors, Law & Order: UK, and the movies Indulgence and King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword, as well as Doctors.
