“Deadbeat tacticless coach,” Thiago Silva wife Belle Silva likes tweet mocking Graham Potter

After Chelsea’s humiliation at the hands of lowly Southampton at Stamford Bridge, Belle Silva liked a tweet that was harshly critical of Graham Potter

The pressure on Potter is immense.

Following Chelsea’s humiliating 1-0 loss to managerless Southampton on Saturday, Potter is under intense pressure at the club. Even though Saints sit at the bottom of the Premier League and have only won once in their previous 11 games. James Ward Prowse’s outstanding free-kick allowed the bottom of table team to leave Stamford Bridge with three points.

At the conclusion of the game, boos were head from all over the Stamford Bridge. Now it’s clear that the pressure on the Blues manager is growing. In addition to this, Thiago Silva’s wife was caught liking a tweet that referred to Graham Potter as a “deadbeat” manager who “doesn’t know what he is doing.”

While some Potter supporters insist that he needs more time, others have started to criticise the former Brighton manager. Then Belle Silva liked one of the more damning tweets about the manager who is currently under fire.

“Can you get Thiago Silva to coach our club himself? We have a deadbeat tactic less coach who has no idea what he is doing,” a fan tweeted to her. “He believes he is still at Brighton and doesn’t even know that is Chelsea football club.”

In the past, Belle hasn’t been afraid to voice her views on the club, whether in the good times and the bad. As news of Silva’s contract renewal broke, she tweeted the lyrics to Chelsea’s anthem “Blue is the colour.” She also criticised Blues supporters earlier this year for jeering after a loss to Man City.

Chelsea hasn’t found a way yet.

The club has had a very challenging 2023, with only one victory to show for 10 games across all competitions. The club made record-breaking purchases in January, including Mykhailo Mudryk, Joao Felix, and Enzo Fernandez, who were brought in to turn around the team’s fortunes. Yet, the team hasn’t yet come together, and a talented goal scorer is obviously absent.

Potter’s job is still apparently safe, as Chelsea will travel to fierce rivals Tottenham the following week before hosting Leeds and playing the second leg of their Champions League round of 16 match against Dortmund.
