There won’t be a Dead To Me season 4. When Netflix declared the 3rd season renewal, the streaming service was clear that it is the final season. Moreover, Feldman was very much clear that ending the show after its 3 seasons allowed her to tell the story she wanted to say and she thanked Netflix for giving her such an opportunity.
“From began to finish, Dead To Me is now exactly the show I wanted to make, and it’s been really incredible gift,” Feldman stated in a statement.” Telling a story sprung from grief and loss has stretched me as an artist and healed me as a human. I’ll be there forever indebted to my partners in the crime, my friends for life, Christina and Linda, and our truly talented writers, cast and crew.
In the latest interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Feldman stated this. “I always knew that it was going to be a short-lived show,” she said that. “I wanted more seasons, but I’m realistic about where the show lives.”
“It lives on a platform that doesn’t traditionally give more than 3 or 4, or even sometimes one or two, seasons,” she continues. “I wanted the ending to feel important and not just, like, ‘Oh shit. We’re going to get canceled!’ It’s like I wanted to beat them and decide our own destiny.”
Dead To Me’s season 3 was aired in 2022 on 17 November on Netflix.
