Nicolas Cage DBD PTB release date
BeHaviour Interactive have announced the release date for Nicolas Cage in Dead By Daylight as July 25. However, his DBD PTB will launch a few weeks earlier on July 5. The developers confirmed this news during an official release date at the Summer Game Fest. During the fest, Geoff Keighley interviewed The Cage on stage. During that interview, the famous actor discussed his love for horror and shared his excitement at joining the Dead By Daylight universe.
DBD Nicolas Cage perks tease and leaks
Although BeHaviour Interactive hasn’t revealed the perks for Dead By Daylight Nicolas Cage their gameplay programmer, johnwanggd, revealed that they are a ‘TREAT’. Moreover, the developers have not revealed any abilities as of yet. The only thing players know now is that Cage will join DBD as a new playable survivor. Besides his full likeness, he has also provided lots of voice lines for his character too.
Interestingly, Nicolas Cage is portraying his actual self in Dead By Daylight instead of a fictional character. The veteran actor’s character in the game follows the plotline where he gets trapped in the Fog after summoning the Entity while in the works of filming a movie on set.
Dead By Daylight PTB how to play
Interested fans can play the Dead By Daylight DBD Nicolas Cage PTB on PC via Steam using the step-by-step guide below on July 5th:
- Open Steam
- Proceed to Library
- Right-click Dead By Daylight and select Properties
- Click Betas
- Open the dropdown menu and select Public Tests
- Restart Steam and open DBD
However, PC users will not be able to play the DBD public test builds on the Epic Games store. Meanwhile, Epic Games users, PlayStation, and Xbox will have to wait until July 25 to play as Nicolas Cage.
