Ddakji is a South Korean game in which folded pieces of paper are flipped. It is popular among children.

The objective of the game is for one player to turn over the other’s paper tile on the floor. Of course, when kids lose or win a round, they don’t hit each other; instead, they just need to keep the other person’s tile.

How To Play Ddakji?

Ddakji requires paper, preferably origami or construction paper sheets. After that, the paper must be folded into 2/3. Fold the left corner up and the right corner down after that. This is then done on a different sheet of paper.

Then, at the flat centre, put the two sections together, and fold the flaps together until you have a complete square form. Repeat this process until you have a sufficient number of paper tiles to play with.

To begin the Ddakji, one person throws one of their tiles as hard as they can towards the other player’s tile, hoping to turn it over on the floor. If the coin flips over, that individual is the winner of the round. It’s comparable to the pogs that were popular in the 1990s.

What Does It Signify In Squid Game Season 2?

Season 1 featured Gi-hun as he competed in a series of dangerous games modelled on Korean children’s playground activities, in which losers were executed. Gi-hun is initially persuaded to participate when he sees the man in the suit playing Ddakji.

When the man in the suit wins a round, he slaps Gi-hun in the face, and when Gi-hun wins, he may smack the man.ย But one thing fans never imagined was that the first inkling of how cruel the games would be would come when Gi-hun played Ddakji again.

The official Squid Games Twitter account’s response to supporters not only confirmed Gi-return hun’s for the second season but also implied that the guy in the suit would return โ€” after all, we did witness him trying to recruit new players at the conclusion of the season 1.

But one thing from this Ddakji is confirmed that it is going to be more brutal.
