The release date for the HBO Max’s DC League of Super-Pets has been scheduled, know the OTT release date and cast
The movie has been released on theatres back in July 29, 2022 in the US and August 5, 2022 in India.
Since it’s release in theatres, fans were eagerly waiting for its OTT release and finally the filmmakers has given us the chance we were looking so patiently.

League of Super-Pets, is the story of Krypto and Ace. Krypto is a pet dog of Superman while Ace is a shelter dog who team up with other animals to rescue the seized superheroes from Lex Luthor and Lulu.
The film was made on a $90 million budget and recieved generally positive reviews from critics and has grossed approximately $178 million worldwide.
Although the film is still in theatres, yet the filmmakers has decided to release the digital version of it.
In an announcement, HBO has confirmed that the DC League Of Super-Pets will be available to stream on HBO Max on September 26, 2022.
Furthermore, the animated movie will be available in 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 4, 2022.
However, unlike other platforms, HBO Max doesn’t provide free trials for users. So in order to binge the movie, fans need to subscribe the platform.
In an recent interview the director of the film, David Stern spoke about the film as he said, “I was working already at Warner Bros. and with DC, and I knew of the Super-Pets.”
He further added, “And so from there, I knew that I wanted a bunch of pets in a Metropolis animal shelter and it made sense for there to be a dog, obviously, like Ace, and perhaps there could be a squirrel like Chip and a turtle-like Merton. And so it just fit with pets that you could find in a Metropolis shelter as I was digging.”
Synopsis of the film
DC Comics describes the film as, “In DC League of Super-Pets, Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime in Metropolis side by side.”
