This week (12–17 September 2023) in four European cities, sixteen teams will face off for eight coveted positions in the Davis Cup Finals Group Stage. The top two nations from four groups of four will compete in the men’s tennis international team event final, which will be held in Malaga, Spain, from November 21–26.
Olympic winners Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka are competing in Group B in Manchester, Great Britain, while Serbia’s Novak Djokovic, who just won his unprecedented 24th major championship at the US Open, will serve as the team’s leader in Valencia, Spain.
While young guns Lorenzo Musetti (Italy) and Denis Shapovalov (Canada) are in Bologna, Italy, for Group A, Americans Frances Tiafoe and Tommy Paul are leading Team USA in Split, Croatia, for Group D.

Players may expect to make a respectable amount of money in the coming weeks if this year’s Davis Cup payouts follow the pattern of previous years.
The most recent prize money breakdown is from 2022, even though the International Tennis Federation has not yet disclosed the 2023 numbers. Here is a look at the potential payoff for each club based on where they place if past trends are any indication.
