The movie has over 100 crores in box office revenue and is still popular in Telugu states. A record for Nani’s career, the historical drama has earned more than 55 crores in just Telugu states. Keerthy Suresh played the lead in this movie, which was directed by Srikanth Odela.

The movie is currently in its third week, and attention is turning to its OTT distribution. The movie will be available on Netflix. Now that we know for sure, Dasara will primarily begin streaming on Netflix on May 30. The streaming behemoth spent a fortune to acquire the rights to Dasara, and the producers themselves were able to recoup only half of their production costs.
New Scenes will be added in the OTT release
The OTT run will reportedly include the portions that were cut from the theatrical showing. On a budget of more than 50 crores, Sudhakar Cherukuri produced the film Dasara which grossed twice as much. Dasara had a fantastic debut because of Nani’s makeover and his relentless promotion.
Unfortunately, Dasara was a failure in Hindi since few people were interested in it. Also in several districts of Andhra, Dasara failed to enter the profit zone. Overall though, the movie was a huge success at the box office, and now we wait for its OTT release. Currently, Nani has preoccupied with his family drama-themed new movie. Mrunal Thakur portrays the female protagonist in this movie, which has a new filmmaker at the helm.
What the movie is all about
Nani’s Dasara, like its recent peers Rangasthalam (2018) and Narappa (2021), is a well-worn story about the shadowy side of social class. The familiarity pervades the manner in which it tells a story of friendship and vengeance. It’s the film’s deeply embedded setting and Srikanth’s ability to take the viewer to a never-before-seen milieu of coal-laden hamlet that really succeeds in the film’s favor.
