The community has so far reacted quite well to Ironmace’s upcoming dungeon crawler Dark and Darker, which is currently in its third and longest playtest, know its December dates and times
On December 10, 2022, the current playtest began, and it will continue for exactly 10 days.
Dark And Darker December 2022 Playtest End Dates, Times Revealed
Consequently, it will terminate at 2 AM PT/5 PM ET on December 26, 2022. The playtest was initially scheduled to end on December 23, 2022, but participants had numerous network problems at the start of the playtest, as Ironmace had recently mentioned.
For this reason, the test has been extended by three days, and the official date has been changed to December 26.
As previously indicated, this is the game’s third playtest, with the first one taking place in September 2022. Only a month later, in October, a second playtest was conducted, but neither of them lasted as long as the present one, which is accessible to participants for a full 10 days.
All of the gamers that took part in the playtest have given Ironmace’s Dark and Darker a lot of positive feedback. The game is a dungeon crawler combining action-adventure and RPG components that is truly unique.
The title is described as follows,
“An unforgiving hardcore fantasy FPS dungeon PvPvE adventure. Band together with your friends and use your courage, wits, and cunning to uncover mythical treasures, and defeat gruesome monsters, while staying one step ahead of the other devious treasure-hunters.”
The multiplayer mode is where the community appears to be having the most fun with the game, and the co-op option is one of its strongest features.

The first two Dark and Darker playtests were all really successful, and the third one appears to be going in the same direction. The vast majority of users actively participate in the game and its growth, contributing their ideas and comments along the way.
In response to community input, Ironmace has also released a large number of updates and hotfixes to address some of the game’s glaring performance problems. This demonstrates how determined they are to offer players a polished product once dungeon crawler is formally released.
