“Dare to Love Me” is a forthcoming South Korean drama based on the popular Naver Webtoon by Sun Woo, featuring Kim Myung-soo and Lee Yoo-young in the lead roles.

The romance genre series Dare to Love Me is set to debut on May 13th, 2024, airing every Monday and Tuesday at 22:10 with episode 2 releasing on May 14. The upcoming Kdrama which has a total of 16 episodes will be running on KBS2 every Monday & Tuesday.

The story of Dare to Love Me revolves around Shin Yoon Bok, a dedicated scholar from Seongsan Village, South Korea. He is entrusted with preserving the cultural heritage of the Joseon Dynasty and reclaiming important artifacts for his family’s legacy.

Although he’s a respected Confucian scholar who honors his elders’ traditions, he has a modern perspective, sometimes defying the expectations placed on him.
Despite his polite and well-mannered exterior, Yoon Bok finds it challenging to form close relationships and often keeps people at arm’s length. His life takes an unexpected turn when he moves to Seoul to follow his dream of becoming a webtoon creator.
There, he meets Kim Hong Do, a woman who has faced her share of life’s hardships. The encounter sparks a whirlwind of emotions that push Yoon Bok to confront his guarded heart and open up to new possibilities.
Let us remind you once again, that the series Is adapted from the webtoon “Treat Me Carelessly” by Sun Woo, who wrote and illustrated the original story.

The talented lead cast of the series includes Lee Yoo-young and Kim Myung-soo. Apart from the two, the drama series will also feature Park Eun-Seok, Seonwoo Jae-Seok and Park Eun-Seok in supporting roles.
