Head To Head: 3-0

In their three meetings before, the Russian has beaten Cilic every time they played on the court to lead the head to head 3-0.

Prediction

Medvedev appears to be having a good time in Paris and is the overwhelming favourite to beat Marin Cilic in the fourth round.

The No. 2 ATP player beat Kecmanovic in a superb encounter, scoring 42 winners and winning 77per cent of his first-serve points. He seemed to have gotten the hang of clay this week and will try to maintain his momentum.
Marin Cilic is getting on in years and isn’t looking forward to long rallies against Dmitry Medvedev. Attacking the Russian and moving him around the court as much as possible is his best chance.

Cilic served eight aces and won 70% of the points on his first serve against Simon. But it won’t be as simple against Medvedev, who has exceptional defensive abilities.

Medvedev has experience over Cilic and he will be easily able to read his moments. The player from Russia is expected to go ahead in the next round.
