From the baseline, the Russian has superb consistency and can speed up his groundstrokes when he sees an opening. Medvedev’s serve has also been good this week, with him winning at least 75% of his first serves in every match and only being broken once (he has saved 22/23 breakpoints). Hurkacz leads the head-to-head 2-2, however, he did win in five sets on Wimbledon grass last season.
