Bryan Danielson who was known as Daniel Bryan during his time in WWE revealed why he quit the company during his AEW debut
After CM Punk’s debut, AEW decided to roll out to move mainstays of WWE during All Out. Both Adam Cole and Daniel Bryan were introduced to the world of All Elite Wrestling as the two superstars made their debut for the company after being let go by WWE.
Where WWE have lost their way at the moment with the organisation on a wayward spiral as Vince McMahon decides to let go off everyone under the sun, AEW are on an uptick. The company has been quick to tie down the wrestlers being relieved of their duties by WWE to usher in scores of new followers.
Daniel Bryan Talks About Reason For Leaving WWE And Switching To AEW
Daniel Bryan spoke about why he had decided to move on from WWE ensuing his AEW debut along with opening up on the reasons which allured him to AEW. The American Dragon alluded AEW’s fresh talent and ever growing fanbase as one of the main reasons for opting for the company.
While he spoke fondly about Vince McMahon, Bryan went onto talk about how he could be too protective at times, a comment which is a reference to WWE not only him to step out for NJPW. AEW’s close relationship with NJPW with bound to have swung in the company’s favour as it strived to get Daniel on board with the wrestler talking about how he wants to wrestle rather than just being a sports entertainer.
He had previously also talked about wanting to reduce the time he spent in the ring owing to his child.
Daniel Bryan says he loved working in WWE and was grateful, but still left. The reasons why were the talent, especially the ones who came from day 1. He wants fans to thank day one AEW stars for enticing former WWE names over. He says the second reason is the AEW fan base
